Kia India Records Best-Ever Sales in 2025 - December Sees Highest Sales
Kia India ended the calendar year 2025 with its highest-ever annual sales, recording 280,286 units, representing a 15 per cent year-on-year growth compared to 2024, marking the company's strongest performance since beginning operations in the Indian market.
December 2025 also emerged as Kia India's best-ever monthly sales performance, with wholesale dispatches of 18,659 units, more than doubling the 8,957 units recorded in December 2024, contributing significantly to the brand's overall yearly growth.
The Kia Sonet continued to play a central role in overall volumes, achieving over 1 lakh units in annual sales for the second consecutive year, reinforcing its position as one of the brand's most consistent contributors during 2025.
Other models, including the Seltos and Carens, supported volumes throughout the year, while Kia's premium offerings, such as the Carnival Limousine and EV6, contributed to the company's presence in higher price segments.
During the 2025 calendar year, Kia India expanded its nationwide footprint to 821 touchpoints across 369 cities, strengthening sales and service accessibility and supporting volume growth across metros, tier-two and tier-three markets.
Commenting on the performance and outlook, Atul Sood, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing said, "2025 was a year of consistent and sustainable growth for Kia India, driven by strategic product introductions like the Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV, trim optimization across key mass-selling models including the Seltos, Carens and Sonet; operational efficiencies, and continuous improvements across sales, service, and customer engagement. Supported by favourable macroeconomic conditions and government policies, including a consumer-friendly GST framework, these initiatives reinforced positive consumer sentiment."
He further added, "Looking ahead to 2026, Kia India remains focused on delivering value-led offerings and strengthening the brand ownership experience across its product portfolio to drive steady, sustainable growth in a dynamic market environment."
Kia also indicated that favourable market conditions and stable demand contributed to sales momentum, with plans in place to introduce new products and updates in 2026 as part of its ongoing product strategy. This will start with Kia announcing prices for the new-gen Seltos tomorrow, January 2, 2026.
