Kia Carens Clavis HTE(EX) Launched At ₹12.55 Lakh - Gets Sunroof & More Features
Kia India has expanded the Kia Carens Clavis line-up with the introduction of a new HTE(EX) variant, adding a sunroof-equipped option positioned above the HTE(O) trim. The new variant level of the Kia Carens Clavis is aimed at buyers looking for added comfort features without moving to the higher HTX trims.
The Kia Carens Clavis HTE(EX) variant level introduces a single-pane sunroof, a feature previously limited to higher variants in the Carens Clavis range. This addition enhances cabin ambience while keeping the overall feature set focused on practicality and everyday usability.
The Kia Carens Clavis HTX (EX) trim level adds fully automatic temperature control (FATC) for improved cabin comfort, along with LED DRLs and position lamps that enhance front-end styling and visibility. It also features LED cabin lamps for better interior illumination and a more contemporary ambience, while the driver-side power window with auto up/down function adds convenience and safety.
Apart from the sunroof, the Kia Carens Clavis HTE(EX) continues with the standard safety and convenience equipment available on lower trims, including dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors, and a digital instrument cluster. Seating layout and interior design remain unchanged, retaining the Clavis' emphasis on space and flexibility.

The Kia Carens Clavis continues to be offered with multiple powertrain options, including 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, paired with manual, iMT and automatic transmissions depending on the variant.
