Kia Carens Clavis EV Updated
The Kia Carens Clavis EV, an electric MPV, is now available in GTX and GTX+ trims. Additionally, a new X-Line variant has been introduced, featuring a more aggressive and rugged design language. Both these trims continue to offer a 7-seater configuration, enhancing practicality and comfort for large families.

Kia India's Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Mr Atul Sood, said, "The Carens Clavis EV was developed to make electric mobility practical and relevant for everyday use. As more customers transition to EVs, their expectations are evolving beyond technology to include greater comfort, flexible seating, and distinctive design. The MY26 reflects this feedback with new trims and a 6-seater configuration that enhances comfort and versatility while retaining the practicality Indian customers value."
The GT-Line variant features sporty design elements, including newly designed alloy wheels, lime green brake callipers, and metal pedals. Meanwhile, the X-Line variant adopts a darker, more rugged theme with contrast elements and is offered in an exclusive Dark Gun Metal colour with Aurora Black Pearl accents.

On the technology front, the updated model now includes features such as Digital Key and battery heater technology. Even the standard variants benefit from updates, including new black high-gloss aero alloy wheels.
Kia has also introduced a new 6-seater configuration with second-row captain seats across multiple trims, including HTX (E), HTX, HTX+, GTX, GTX+, and X-Line. This setup enhances comfort and provides a more premium travel experience, especially for families.

The Carens Clavis EV is powered by electric motors producing 99 kW and 126 kW, delivering a peak torque of around 255 Nm. It offers smooth and responsive performance suitable for both city commutes and highway driving. The model comes with two battery pack options-51.4 kWh and 42 kWh-offering a claimed range of up to 490 km and 404 km, respectively. It also supports fast charging, with a 10-80% charge achievable in just 39 minutes.
In terms of safety, Kia offers 18 advanced features, including Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), and six airbags. Inside the cabin, the MPV features a dual panoramic display, over 85 connected features, intuitive controls, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, delivering a premium and tech-forward experience.
Kia also provides access to over 15,000 charging points across India through the MyKia app. Additionally, more than 100 Kia dealerships are equipped with DC fast chargers, and 267 EV-ready workshops are available for service and support. The Kia Carens Clavis EV is offered in seven colour options: Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Ivory Silver Matte, and the new Dark Gun Metal.
