Kawasaki Side-By-Side Range Launched: Prices Start At Rs 38 Lakh - Litre Class Off-Road Hooligans

Kawasaki has introduced a new range of side-by-side vehicles in India, spanning five models built for off-road, agricultural, and recreational use. The line-up includes the Teryx 4 H2, Teryx KRX4 1000, Teryx KRX 1000, Ridge Crew and Mule Pro-FXT 1000 LE, priced between Rs 38 lakh and Rs 78.90 lakh.

None of these new Kawasaki Side-By-Side vehicles are road-legal, and all use a CVT gearbox. They are also not E20 fuel-compliant, which limits their use to private and off-road terrain rather than public roads.

Kawasaki Teryx 4 H2 - Rs 78.90 lakh

The Teryx 4 H2 tops the range and borrows its 999cc inline-four, liquid-cooled, supercharged engine from the H2 motorcycle. It makes 250hp at 9,000rpm and 198.3Nm at 8,800rpm. The vehicle rides on 16-inch alloy wheels with Maxxis off-road tyres and gets long-travel FOX suspension. It also features selectable 2WD/4WD drive and on-the-go adjustable power delivery, making it the most performance-focused model of the five.

Kawasaki Teryx KRX4 1000 - Rs 52.90 lakh

The Teryx KRX4 1000 is a four-seater uses a 999cc parallel-twin engine producing 110hp at 8,300rpm and 102Nm at 7,000rpm. It comes with Showa long-travel suspension featuring adjustable damping, electric power steering, and 15-inch wheels shod with Maxxis Carnivore tyres.

Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 - Rs 43.40 lakh

The Teryx KRX 1000 is essentially a two-seater version of the KRX4 1000, this model shares the same 999cc parallel-twin engine producing 110hp at 8,300rpm and 102Nm at 7,000rpm. It gets a longer wheelbase than its four-seat sibling and weighs 952kg.

Kawasaki Ridge Crew - Rs 47.86 lakh

The Ridge Crew is the most versatile model here, suited to industrial use, resort mobility, infrastructure work and recreation. Its 999cc inline four-cylinder engine produces 116hp at 8,500rpm and 100.05Nm at 8,000rpm. It runs on 14-inch wheels and offers adjustable driver ergonomics, USB charging ports and a smartphone-connected instrument display.

Kawasaki Mule Pro-FXT 1000 LE - Rs 38 lakh

The entry point to the Kawasaki Side-By-Side range in India, the Mule Pro-FXT 1000 LE is built for workforce utility and passenger transport. Its convertible Trans Cab system switches between three and six seats, suiting agriculture, resorts and outdoor operations. Power comes from a 999cc twin-cylinder engine making 70hp at 6,500rpm and 83Nm at 4,500rpm, the lowest output figure in the line-up.
