Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito Unveiled - Bookings Open

The Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito Limited Edition has been unveiled in India, with pre-bookings now open. The Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito is based on the Rubicon variant and will be sold in limited numbers.

Jeep is expected to launch the special edition in the coming weeks. Pricing is yet to be confirmed, while the Wrangler Rubicon it's based on costs Rs 70.8 lakh (ex-showroom).

Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito: Design and Features

The Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito is offered only in an exclusive bright green Mojito shade, paired with a white roof. Up front, the grille surround is white, and the fenders are body-coloured. The side profile carries '1941' decals, a nod to the year the original Willys MB Jeep arrived, while a white '4 Wheel Drive' sticker sits on the boot lid. The two-tone look takes its cue from the white tops of older Jeep CJ models.

Inside, the changes include a built-in dashcam and reinforced grab handles. The rest of the Rubicon's equipment carries over, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 12-way powered front seats, dual-zone climate control and a 7-inch driver's display.

The safety kit on the Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito includes an ADAS suite and six airbags, and the nine-speaker Alpine audio system comes with a subwoofer.

Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito: Engine, Gearbox and Availability

The Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito carries no mechanical changes over the Rubicon. Its 2.0-litre four-cylinder direct-injection turbo-petrol engine makes 272hp and 400Nm, and an 8-speed automatic sends power to all four wheels through a standard 4x4 system.

The same edition has also been offered in the USA, Japan and, for a short period, South Korea. It's part of a series of special-edition Wranglers Jeep has rolled out globally this year to mark its 85th anniversary.

The Wrangler is currently offered in India in Unlimited, Rubicon and Willys 41 Special Edition forms and the Whitecap Mojito will be the fourth version of the rugged American SUV to be offered in the country.
