Jeep India Teases Meridian Track Edition — Sportier Design & New Features Coming Soon
Jeep India has teased the upcoming Jeep Meridian Track Edition on its official social media channels. The SUV is already available in standard and Trail Edition variants, and this new Track Edition is expected to expand its lineup. Much like the previously introduced Jeep Compass Track Edition, it is likely to bring distinctive cosmetic enhancements and added visual appeal.
Jeep Meridian Track Edition Teased
The Meridian Track Edition is likely to feature cosmetic enhancements inspired by the Compass Track Edition. Expected exterior highlights include piano black inserts on the grille, track-inspired bonnet decals, and additional styling tweaks. The SUV may also receive exclusive badging and new 18-inch black alloy wheels to give it a sportier appearance.
Interiors
Inside the cabin, the special edition could feature an all-black interior theme with contrast stitching, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and dual-tone premium leatherette upholstery with unique accents. These updates should help distinguish the Track Edition from the regular Meridian.

Powertrain
Mechanically, no major changes are expected. The SUV will likely continue with the 2.0-litre diesel engine producing around 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Transmission options should include a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed torque converter automatic, available in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations.
Tech and Convenience
Feature highlights are expected to remain similar to the current model, including powered ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, wireless smartphone connectivity, remote engine start/stop, navigation, wireless charging, and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Premium cabin Protection
Safety equipment should include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, terrain management modes (Auto, Mud/Sand, Snow), hill descent control, frequency selective damping suspension, and other driver assistance features.
Pricing & Rivals
Since the teaser has already been released, the Meridian Track Edition is expected to debut in the coming weeks. The standard Meridian currently starts at around ₹23.33 lakh (ex-showroom), and the Track Edition will likely command a slight premium. This three-row, seven-seat SUV will continue to compete with rivals such as the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, MG Gloster, Volkswagen Tayron R-Line, and new MG Majestor in the premium SUV segment.
