Jeep Meridian Track Edition Launched — What’s New In This Premium 7-Seater?
Jeep India has introduced the Track Edition of the Jeep Meridian SUV. It gets several cosmetic updates along with improved cabin comfort. Instead of mechanical changes, the focus has been on enhancing visual appeal and interior experience, making the SUV more attractive for buyers seeking a premium and stylish seven-seater.
Jeep Meridian Track Edition Top Highlights & Changes
Previously, Jeep introduced a track edition for its popular Compass SUV. The same design and cabin treatment have been carried forward to the seven-seater Meridian. Here's a closer look at what's new in the Track Edition version of this seven-seater premium SUV.

Exterior Updates
On the outside, the Meridian Track Edition features several styling enhancements, including a Blacked-out front grille, Track Edition bonnet decals, Exclusive Track Edition badging, Body mouldings, and new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. These updates give the SUV a sportier and more distinctive appearance compared to the standard model.
Interior Enhancements
Inside the cabin, the SUV receives a dual-tone Tupelo interior theme similar to the Compass Track Edition, along with a blacked-out dashboard. There is also a Track edition logo embedded on the dashboard. The steering wheel now comes wrapped in Cortina leather with contrast stitching, enhancing the premium feel of the cabin.

Improved Comfort & Practicality
One of the notable upgrades with the track edition is the addition of 140mm sliding second-row seats, which improve legroom flexibility and make access to the third row easier than before. This feature enhances practicality for families using all three rows regularly.
Features & Technology
The Meridian Track Edition retains the same feature set as the standard model, including powered and ventilated front seats, a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, and Level 2 ADAS safety. These features keep the SUV competitive in the premium segment.

Powertrain Details
Mechanically, the SUV remains unchanged. It continues to use the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can choose between 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrain options, offering flexibility to the customers.
Market rivals
The Meridian Track Edition sits in the premium D-segment SUV category and competes with models such as the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Skoda Kodiaq, and the newly launched MG Majestor and the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line.

Pricing & Value
Priced at around ₹35.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the Meridian Track Edition positions itself as a relatively more accessible premium seven-seater SUV. Most of its competitors are priced at an average price of 40 lakh (ex-showroom).
The availability of both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations, combined with cosmetic upgrades and enhanced comfort features, makes it a very good option for buyers seeking a stylish and practical, premium SUV.
