Jeep Unveils New Compass 4xe in Europe
The Compass is one of the most popular nameplates in Jeep's lineup. The SUV is available in petrol, diesel, and EV variants. Now, Jeep has unveiled a new long-range electric battery variant of the Compass, called the 4xe in the European markets.

This model is built on the same dual-motor electric architecture and produces a massive power output of 375 hp, paired with an AWD (All-Wheel Drive) system. The Compass 4xe now claims a maximum range of 600 km on a single charge.
It is equipped with a large 96.1 kWh battery pack that supports fast charging. The large battery pack contributes to the longer driving range, and with fast charging, it can charge from 20 to 80 percent in just 27 minutes, making it more practical and usable.

Longer Battery Variant
A FWD long-range model has also been introduced, equipped with a 96.3 kWh battery pack that claims a maximum range of 674 km. This variant produces 228 hp and is primarily aimed at delivering maximum efficiency and range.
These models get five different terrain modes along with Level 2 ADAS safety features as standard. The 4xe variant additionally gets a 4WD lock system that enables better traction and grip on slippery surfaces and off-road conditions.

Additionally, the 4xe variant gets 10 mm more ground clearance than the standard variant. This has been designed to better handle off-road driving conditions and provide more confidence to drivers. The two independent electric motors connected to the front and rear axles also enhance control and traction independently.
This vehicle is primarily designed for enthusiasts who want to enjoy the rugged driving feel of a Jeep in an electric form. The Compass 4xe is currently aimed at European markets, and there is no official confirmation regarding its launch in India.
