Hyundai Introduces Venue Facelift With New HX5+ Variant Offering More Features

Hyundai launched a new HX5 Plus variant in its Venue Facelift SUV. This new variant offers several updated features and is priced very competitively. The HX5 Plus variant is available only with the base petrol engine and manual transmission. Check out the full details below.

The Hyundai Venue facelift was launched in late 2025 with a refreshed design, styling updates, and segment-leading features. The new-generation model received 50,000 bookings within just two months of launch. This strong response was driven by its attractive pricing, feature-rich variants, and a wide range of powertrain and transmission options.

Now, Hyundai has introduced the new HX5+ variant, which offers additional convenience and safety features over the standard HX5, at a price premium of around 85,000. The HX5 Plus variant is currently available only with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The new variant adds features such as roof rails, quad-beam LED headlamps, rear window sunshades, hill start assist control, electronic stability control, rollover sensor, tyre pressure monitoring system, wireless smartphone charger, front armrest with storage, rear parking sensors and camera with dynamic guidelines, rear wiper and washer, and auto up-down driver power window with anti-pinch function.

Some of these features were earlier exclusive to the higher HX6 variant, but with the introduction of the HX5 Plus, buyers can now access them at a more affordable price point. The HX5 Plus variant is priced from 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Other Powertrains

In addition to the base 1.2L NA petrol engine, the Venue facelift is also offered with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing over 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque, and finally a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine delivering 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed DCT automatic and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The new-generation Venue is available across nine different variants. In the sub-4-metre SUV segment, the Venue Facelift competes against rivals such as the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Skoda Kylaq.
