Hyundai Sales July 2026: Domestic Deliveries Rise 23%, Total Volumes Cross 75,000 Units

Hyundai Motor India posted its highest-ever monthly sales in July 2026, with total dispatches of 75,360 units. This marked a 25.4% year-over-year jump over the 60,073 units the carmaker shipped out in July 2025.

Hyundai Motor India's domestic sales reached 54,210 units, up 23.3% year-on-year and the strongest July on record for the Korean marque in India. Exports climbed 31.4% year-on-year to 21,150 units, marking Hyundai's highest monthly overseas volume in more than 100 months.

Hyundai Motor India's domestic volumes also grew 36.8% month-on-month over the 39,635 units sold in June 2026, when production had been affected by a fire at one of Hyundai's vendors. Output has since returned to normal. The Creta SUV was the big seller as usual, logging its highest monthly sales of CY2026 at 18,088 units, while the i20 recorded its best month this year with 6,738 units sold.

Hyundai's Upcoming Launches For India

Hyundai is currently preparing a midsize SUV for launch later this financial year. The new SUV, which is based on the Bayon sold abroad, will rival the Maruti Suzuki Victoris. The new Hyundai mid-size SUV is expected to arrive with petrol, diesel and factory-fitted underbody CNG powertrain options..

The South Korean carmaker is also working on a sub-4 metre all-electric SUV. This new electric SUV will be aimed at the Tata Nexon EV, Punch EV and the expected Mahindra XUV 3XO EV, and will slot below the Creta Electric in Hyundai's EV lineup. Hyundai's next-generation Creta is also scheduled to arrive in FY27 as well and will bring a host of updates with regards to design, technology and powertrain options to the firm's most popular vehicle currently on sale in India.
