Hyundai Ioniq 5 Facelift Launched At ₹55.7 Lakh - 84kWh Battery,690km Range

South Korean carmaker Hyundai has launched the facelifted Ioniq 5 electric SUV. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift is priced at ₹55.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

The update to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 brings a larger battery pack, revised styling and a reworked interior, with the E-GMP-based electric SUV continuing as Hyundai's flagship EV for India.

The most significant change to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift comes in the move from a 72.6kWh to an 84.0kWh battery pack. Hyundai claims an ARAI-certified range of 690km, putting it among EVs with the highest range currently on sale in India.

Power output for the India-spec car hasn't been disclosed. Globally, the rear-wheel-drive variant of the facelifted Hyundai Ioniq 5 with the 84kWh battery pack produces 229hp and 350Nm.

The Ioniq 5's Parametric Pixel identity carries over, with changes kept incremental. Up front, there's a revised bumper with a more open design and new skid plates; the rear gets a redesigned bumper, a new roof spoiler and an updated V-garnish lighting element.

The pixel lighting signature stays unchanged. New alloy wheels are the only update visible in the side profile. Four exterior colours are offered: Gravity Gold Matte, Midnight Black Pearl, Titan Grey and Optic White, all paired with an Obsidian Black interior.

The dual 12.3-inch screen layout for infotainment and instruments are carried over. New additions include a three-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated four-dot design and heating function, plus a revised centre console with physical controls for seat heating and ventilation.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5's wireless charging pad has been repositioned and cup holders have been revised as well. Hyundai's Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) is now standard, along with controller OTA updates, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and in-car EV charging payment integration. A remote immobilisation function via Bluelink has been added to the feature list.

On the safety front, the Ioniq 5 Facelift has added parking collision-avoidance assist (rear) and side parking distance warning to its ADAS package.
