Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition Debuts As Limited-Run Farewell Model - Limited To Just 100 Units
South Korean carmaker Hyundai has introduced a special Shadow Edition of the i20 N hot hatch in Australia. The limited-run model arrives as a send-off for the current-generation i20 N before Hyundai transitions to the next-generation i20 that was recently revealed in Brazil.
Limited to just 100 units, the Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition adds exclusive exterior and interior enhancements while retaining the same performance-focused mechanical package.

Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition - Exclusive Styling Upgrades
One of the biggest highlights of the i20 N Shadow Edition is its new 18-inch flow-forged alloy wheels finished in matte bronze. The unique wheel design gives the hatch a more distinctive appearance compared to the standard model's alloy wheels.
The special edition also receives black wheel nuts and Shadow Edition-specific lower door decals. Buyers can choose between Atlas White and Phantom Black exterior finishes, both of which are exclusive colour options offered with the limited-run version.

Additional exterior highlights include red accents on the front splitter, N-specific badging, red brake callipers, chrome-tipped exhaust outlets and Pirelli P Zero high-performance tyres. Hyundai has also added a numbered plaque to emphasise the exclusivity of the 100-unit production run.
Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition - Cabin Gets Special Edition Touches
Inside, the Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition receives Alcantara trim for the steering wheel and gear shifter. The steering wheel also features a blue 12 o'clock marker, a detail commonly seen in performance-focused vehicles.

Hyundai has further differentiated the cabin with bespoke floor mats that replicate the tread pattern of the Pirelli P Zero tyres. Special stitching elements and the numbered plaque add to the exclusivity of the limited-edition model.
Most of the equipment list remains unchanged from the standard i20 N. The hatchback continues to offer a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, satellite navigation and Hyundai's Sounds of Nature ambient audio library.

Other features include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone charging, USB Type-C ports, Bluelink connected car technology, a Bose premium audio system and a smart key with push-button start.
The i20 N continues to be equipped with Hyundai SmartSense advanced driver assistance systems. Available features include blind-spot collision avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, high beam assist, forward collision avoidance assist and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist.

Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition - Performance Remains Unchanged
Power for the Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition comes from the familiar 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 201hp and 275Nm of torque. Peak torque is available between 1,750rpm and 4,500rpm, while maximum power is delivered between 5,500rpm and 6,000rpm.
The i20 N Shadow Edition's engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Power is sent exclusively to the front wheels, maintaining the engaging driving characteristics that have made the i20 N popular among hot hatch enthusiasts.
Hyundai claims a 0-100km/h sprint time of 6.7 seconds, while top speed is rated at 230km/h. The hot hatch has a kerb weight of 1,190kg and continues unchanged mechanically in Shadow Edition form.
