Hyundai i20 Launched At Rs 5.99 Lakh - New Entry-Level Era Variant, More Features For Magna Variants

Hyundai Motor India Limited has revised prices of the Hyundai i20 hatchback in India, with prices now starting at ₹5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The update to the Hyundai i20 for 2026 adds a new entry-level Era variant and revises prices the Magna Executive and Magna variants.

Along with the revised price points, Hyundai has also updated equipment levels on the Magna Executive and Magna trim levels, while retaining the same mechanical bits as before as it looks to make the i20 more competitve against its rivals.

The Hyundai i20 Era is priced at ₹5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and marks the new entry point to the i20 range. Equipment on the i20 Era variant level includes six airbags, a fully digital instrument cluster, body-colour outside mirrors and door handles, front and rear skid plates, a Type-C USB charger and telescopic steering adjustment.

The i20 Magna Executive is now listed at ₹6.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The Magna Executive variant adds automatic headlamps, a shark fin antenna, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), keyless entry, electrically adjustable ORVMs, steering-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls, along with the same fully digital instrument display as the Era for 2026.

The i20 Magna is priced at ₹6.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and adds an electric sunroof, LED daytime running lamps, rear AC vents and a front armrest with storage, on top of what the Magna executive trim level offers.

Hyundai is also offering a 25.55cm touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a rear camera, as a dealer-level accessory priced at ₹14,999. This dealer-installed unit is offered with a three-year warranty.

Powertrain options for the i20 remain unchanged and continue to include the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with manual and CVT automatic transmissions. No mechanical or structural revisions have been announced as part of this update.

The Hyundai i20 hatchback continues to be sold with a standard 3-year/1,00,000km warranty, with the revised prices effective immediately across Hyundai dealerships nationwide.
