Hyundai To Showcase its Future EV concepts
Hyundai's next-generation concepts have been unveiled in China ahead of public reveal in the Auto China 2026 event in Beijing, scheduled to be held on April 24, 2026. These vehicles reflect the direction Hyundai is heading with its future lineup.
Earth Concept (SUV)
Coming to the Earth concept, it features a single-curve silhouette. The stance is tall and upright, rugged with protective skid plates and several distinctive robust design elements. It gets a chunky front bumper with sleek LED lighting and DRLs.

The alloys are finished in silver with a unique design, and it features sharp-looking mirrors. The rear end has a slightly curved profile, giving it an edgy finish, while the overall silhouette remains smooth and flowing.
On the inside, the Earth concept focuses on space and comfort, featuring four individual air-module seats and several hidden design elements that are expected to be revealed during the Beijing show.
Venus Concept (Sedan)

The Venus, on the other hand, is a full-fledged sedan concept with a curved silhouette. It adopts an "eggshell" design theme with a lightweight roof structure and a transparent rear spoiler. The bumper design is sleek and optimised for aerodynamics.
This EV concept appears to be more driver-focused, with a minimalistic approach and a low-slung stance. Both these vehicles are designed specifically for the Chinese market and mark a new direction for Hyundai in the highly competitive EV space.

Hyundai is also expected to showcase upcoming technologies, including advanced autonomous driving systems developed in collaboration with local partners. These models are likely to be localised when they enter production.
On April 24, Hyundai will officially reveal these concept cars along with its future electrification plans. These vehicles are expected to be part of the Hyundai Ioniq lineup, and naming them after planets instead of the usual numerical system marks a fresh approach. These concepts will give them more confidence to compete in China's highly advanced NEV (New Energy Vehicle) market.
