Honda ZR-V Launched At Rs 47.99 Lakh - Strong Hybrid Flagship, 22.8km/l Mileage
Japanese carmaker Honda has launched the ZR-V in India at an introductory price of Rs 47.99 lakh, ex-showroom, positioning it as the brand's new flagship SUV. Deliveries of the Honda ZR-V begin today, with the SUV arriving as a CBU import from Japan in a single, fully loaded variant.
Bookings for the Honda ZR-V have been robust with its initial production batches for India already sold out. The ZR-V rivals the Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tayron and Jeep Meridian, and is the only strong-hybrid petrol offering in the segment.

Honda ZR-V Launched: Engine, Mileage & Dimensions
The Honda ZR-V is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder direction-injection petrol engine running on the Atkinson cycle. This engine works alongside two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors, and together the setup produces a combined output of 184hp and 315Nm of peak torque. The ZR-V's hybrid setup sends power to its front wheels through an e-CVT gearbox.
Honda claims the ZR-V will sprint from 0-100km/h in 7.9 seconds and the Japanese SUV's will continue to gain speed till it tops out at 171km/h. The Honda ZR-V with its strong-hybrid powerplant returns a fuel efficiency of 22.8km/l.

Honda ZR-V Launched: Design & Features
Up front, the Honda ZR-V gets slim LED headlamps with L-shaped daytime running lights, sequential turn indicators, cornering lights and a grille finished with prominent vertical slats. The ZR-V's bumper houses functional air vents alongside a mesh-pattern trapezoidal air intake, while gunmetal grey skid plates run along the lower section.
At the sides, the ZR-V gets rounded-off surfaces, coloured cladding around the wheel arches and it rides on 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, the Honda ZR-V features clear-lens tail-lamps, a roof-mounted spoiler, ZR-V and e:HEV badging, and dual exhaust tips finished in silver. The SUV is offered in four colourways: Twilight Mist Black Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic and Platinum White Pearl.
Step inside the Honda ZR-V and you'll find a cabin finished in an all-black theme with soft-touch materials, leather upholstery and ambient lighting. The driver gets an eight-way power-adjustable seat with memory function while the front passenger seat is four-way powered.
Tech on board includes a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a nine-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, wireless charging and a gesture-controlled powered tailgate. The ZR-V also gets dual-zone climate control. Boot space stands at 380 litres, which expands to 1,313 litres with the rear seats folded flat.
The Honda ZR-V comes with a three-year, unlimited-kilometre standard warranty and three years of complimentary roadside assistance, extendable up to seven years. The ZR-V's hybrid battery is covered separately for eight years or 1,60,000km, while the hybrid system components carry a five-year or 1,00,000km warranty.
