Honda ZR-V Hybrid Revealed As Flagship SUV For India
Honda has revealed the ZR-V Hybrid as its new flagship SUV in India, introduced alongside the City facelift launch. The SUV arrives as a completely built unit (CBU) import in limited numbers, with pre-bookings already open and deliveries set to begin in July 2026.
Powering the ZR-V is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a dual-motor strong-hybrid system, producing a combined 184hp and 315Nm. Drive goes to the front wheels via an e-CVT, with Honda claiming a 0-100km/h sprint time in 8 seconds, an electronically limited top speed of 172km/h, and fuel efficiency of 22.79km/l.

Honda ZR-V - Design and Dimensions
The Honda ZR-V carries a sleek silhouette (for a SUV) with LED headlights featuring L-shaped DRLs, a black grille, and functional front air vents. In profile, 18-inch alloy wheels sit within gloss-black cladded arches, complemented by flush-type roof rails.
At the rear, separately positioned taillights without a connecting light bar give the ZR-V a clean look. Dual exhaust outlets flank a silver trim on the black rear bumper, while a roof spoiler and rear wiper-washer round out the exterior.

Leatherette upholstery, an 8-way powered driver's seat, a 4-way powered co-driver's seat, a powered tailgate, and ambient lighting complete the ZR-V's cabin setup. Physical controls for the AC, volume, and drive modes keep the centre console uncluttered, aided by an electronic parking brake.
Safety kit on the Honda ZR-V includes 8 airbags, a Level-2 ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Honda ZR-V - Expected Price & Rivals
