Honda Car Sales June 2026: Domestic Up 13.5%, Exports Surge 600%
Honda Cars India recorded strong Honda Car Sales June 2026 numbers, with domestic dispatches rising 13.5% year-on-year to 5,243 units. Combined with exports, total sales reached 8,788 units, up 71.5% from 5,124 units sold in June 2025.
Exports formed the biggest highlight of the month, jumping from 506 units in June 2025 to 3,545 units in June 2026, a growth of 600.6%. Domestic sales also improved sequentially, rising 2.6% over the 5,111 units dispatched in May 2026.

Honda Car Sales June 2026: Q2 FY27 Performance
Honda's first quarter of FY27 mirrored this upward trend. Domestic sales for the April-June 2026 period stood at 14,423 units, up 20.9% from 11,928 units in the same quarter last year. Exports nearly doubled to 7,156 units, registering 76.6% growth over 4,052 units in Q2 FY26. Combined domestic and export sales for Q2 FY27 came in at 21,579 units, a 35% year-on-year increase.

Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, "The launch of New City and India Premiere of global SUV Honda ZR-V has generated strong momentum for our overall sales including Amaze and Elevate during June, driven by healthy customer demand and a positive market response. With Monsoon conditions expected to improve during July, we hope to sustain this positive momentum in the months ahead."

Honda's Upcoming SUV Offensive
Honda is preparing a sizeable product offensive for the Indian market over the next few years. The brand has already begun testing its upcoming 0 Alpha electric SUV which was recently spotted during trials in Manali, with a launch planned for 2027.
Two additional SUVs built specifically for India are also in the pipeline. One will be a sub-4 metre SUV rivaling the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue, while the other will be a new mid-size SUV that takes on the Creta, Seltos and Grand Vitara. Both are expected from 2028 onwards.
Honda has confirmed plans to launch 10 new cars in India by 2030, spanning ICE, hybrid and electric powertrains, as the brand looks to expand its footprint across segments in one of the world's fastest-growing passenger vehicle markets.
