2,031bhp Hennessey Venom F5-M To Debut At Goodwood Festival Of Speed - The World's Most Powerful Manual

American hypercar specialist, Hennessey Special Vehicles, is set to reveal the Venom F5-M, a car the Texas manufacturer calls the world's most powerful manual production hypercar. The Hennessey Venom F5-M will make its global public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which runs from July 9 to July 12.

The Hennessey Venom F5-M will be based in Goodwood's Supercar Paddock and will run up the hill twice daily across the four-day festival. Racing driver Alex Brundle will be behind the wheel for the runs.

At the centre of the Venom F5-M's sits Hennessey's 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged Fury V8, tuned to deliver 2,031 bhp. The engine is paired with traction control and engine management systems designed to give the driver precise, linear power delivery in every gear.

The Venom F5-M's cabin has been reconfigured entirely around the manual driving experience, with a fully redesigned centre console. A billet aluminium short-throw lever sits within a precision-milled six-speed gate, positioned for maximum tactile engagement with every shift.

The Hennessey Venom F5-M's aerodynamic package, developed alongside the new bodywork, is engineered to enhance stability at speeds beyond 320 km/h. The F5-M ports a new carbon fibre chassis with bespoke bodywork and revised aerodynamics.

The most distinctive feature of the F5-M is a 1,400mm (55-inch) dorsal fin that stretches from the roof-mounted air intake to the trailing edge of the rear deck. An integrated roof scoop feeds cool air into the engine bay, with airflow from the sides channelled rearwards by the fin itself.

Hennessey Venom F5-M - Chassis 1 And Custom Details

Chassis 1, the first of the 12 F5-M Roadsters, belongs to a UK customer and is the car making its debut at Goodwood. It was finished through Hennessey's bespoke 'Maverick' design division.

Chassis 1 wears exposed purple carbon fibre bodywork with anodised gold accents, along with a 24-karat gold nose badge. Hand-painted versions of the British Union Flag and the American Stars and Stripes sit on either side of the fin, both rendered in gold to reflect the car's Texan roots and the owner's British nationality. The family name 'Sheikh' is placed on the rear of the car and stitched into the driver and passenger knee pads.
