Ferrari HC25 Unveiled As A One-Off V8-Powered Open-Top Work Of Art
Ferrari has unveiled the HC25, a one-off roadster from its Special Projects division, at Ferrari Racing Days at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Designed by the Ferrari Design Studio under the direction of Flavio Manzoni and his team, the Ferrari HC25 draws visual cues from the F80 hypercar while reimagining the mid-engined, open-top formula.
Built on the F8 Spider platform, the last open-top Ferrari with a non-hybrid mid-rear V8, the HC25 stands as what the brand calls an "ideal bridge" between that era and the futuristic direction of models like the 12Cilindri and F80.

Ferrari HC25 - Design Details
The body of the Ferrari HC25 is finished in matt Moonlight Grey, split by a glossy black band through the midsection. This band houses the radiator air intakes and powertrain heat extraction. An arrow-shaped graphic runs from the rear wheels of the HC25 toward the front, curves over the door, and sweeps back into the rear screen.

The HC25's headlamp units are bespoke, using modules never before fitted to a Ferrari, producing a slim lens with a central indentation mirroring the rear light split design. The vertical boomerang DRL arrangement along the front wing's leading edge is also a brand first.
Inside, the boomerang motif repeats in the seat upholstery, with yellow graphics and stitching set against grey technical fabric. The yellow accents echo the exterior Ferrari logos and brake callipers.

Ferrari HC25 - Powertrain & Dimensions
The HC25 uses a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 710bhp at 7,000rpm and 770Nm of peak torque at 3,250rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels by a 7-speed dual-clutch F1 gearbox.
Ferrari claims the HC25 can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 2.9 seconds, do the 0-200km/h sprint in 8.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 340km/h.

The Ferrari HC25 measures 4,758mm long, 2,006mm wide and 1,183mm tall, with a 2,650mm long wheelbase. The HC25 rides on 20-inch wheels shod with 245/35 ZR 20 J9.0 (front) and 305/35 ZR 20 J11.0 (rear) tyres.
Ferrari Special Projects Heritage Program
Ferrari's Special Projects programme produces one-off cars designed entirely to a single client's brief, developed with the Ferrari Design Studio. Each project takes around two years, with the client closely involved throughout the design and verification process. Previous one-off specials include the SC40, SP-8, KC23 and SP38 Unica and the P80/C, among others.
