The 11th stage of Dakar 2026 saw Honda's Skylar Howes take his first-ever stage win at the world's toughest rally-raid. In the cars category, Ford's Mattias Ekstrom took his third stage win at Dakar 2026 as he led a Ford sweep of the podium spots today.

Stage 11 of Dakar 2026 saw competitors head out from the city of Bisha to Al Henakiyah. Today's stage covered a total of 882 kilometres of fast, mostly gravel terrain and included a 346km long timed special.

Honda's American rider Skylar Howes took his first-ever win at the Dakar Rally today. Howes is the 9th American to win a stage at the Dakar, and he charged through today's timed special stage in a time of three hours, nine minutes and two seconds.

Yesterday's winner, Adrien Van Beveren, took the second spot today. The French rider ended the day 21 seconds behind his moustachioed American teammate. Taking the final podium spot today was KTM's Edgar Canet. The 20-year-old Spanish rider, who won the Prologue and first stage at this year's Dakar, ended the day one minute and 15 seconds behind Howes.

KTM's Luciano Benavides took fourth place today as he retook the overall lead at this year's Dakar Rally. Benavides ended the day three minutes and 37 seconds behind the Honda of Howes.

Honda's Tosha Schareina ended the day in fifth place. The Spanish rider finished the timed special stage four minutes and six seconds behind his American teammate.

Ross Branch was the fastest of the two Hero riders at the Dakar today. The rider from Botswana finished the stage in ninth place, nine minutes behind Howes. Chilean rider Nacho Cornjeom finished the stage in 14th place, 13 minutes and 52 seconds behind Honda's Skylar Howes.

In the overall rankings, KTM's Luciano Benavides now leads Dakar 2026 with just two rounds to go, with a time of 44 hours, 48 minutes and 48 seconds.

Honda's Ricky Brabec dropped down to second place and is now just 23 seconds behind Benavides. Honda's Spanish rider, Tosha Schareina, is in third place, 15 minutes and 16 seconds off the pace set by Benavides.

Defending champion, Australia's Daniel Sanders, is still in fourth place after breaking his collarbone in a big crash on the dunes yesterday. The KTM rider is 23 minutes and 32 seconds behind his Argentinian teammate.

Today's winner, Honda's Skyler Howes, still occupies the fifth spot in the overall standings after Stage 11. The American rider is now 34 minutes and 20 seconds behind KTM's Benavides.

Igancio "Nacho" Cornejo is still in seventh place after 11 rounds of Dakar 2026. The Chilean rider is now one hour, 10 minutes and 50 seconds adrift of Brabec. Ross Branch continues to occupy the 8th spot in the overall standings and now sits two hours, 25 minutes and 56 seconds behind Benavides.

Stage 11 of Dakar 2026, Sweden's Mattias Ekstrom, took his third stage win of this year's edition of the world's toughest rally-raid. The Ford driver, who previously won the Prologue and 7th stage of Dakar 2026, took the stage win today with a time of two hours, 47 minutes and 22 seconds.

Taking second place today was Romain Dumas in his RD Limited Ford Raptor. The French Endurance racing legend and Pikes Peak record holder ended the day one minute and 22 seconds behind Ekstrom.

The final podium spot today was claimed by El Matador, Carlos Sainz. The four-time Dakar winner ended the day two minutes and 26 seconds behind his Swedish teammate. Fourth place today was claimed by Toyota Gazoo Racing SA's Portuguese driver Joao Ferriera, who ended the stage three minutes and 27 seconds behind the Ford of Ekstrom.

Toyota Gazoo Racing W2RC's (the factory team) Seth Quintero ended the stage in fifth place. The American driver finished today's stage four minutes and 44 seconds behind the Ford of Mattias Ekstrom.

In the overall rankings, Dacia's Nasser Al-Attiyah maintained his lead at the top of the overall standings after 11 rounds of the 2026 edition with a time of 44 hours, 39 minutes and 59 seconds.

Ford's Nani Roma jumped a place in the overall standings. The Spanish driver is now eight minutes and 40 seconds behind 5-time Dakar winner Al-Attiyah.

Al-Attiyah's Dacia teammate Sebastien Loeb also jumped up a place in the overall standings after Stage 11. With two rounds to go, Loeb is now 18 minutes and 37 seconds behind his Qatari teammate.

Today's winner, Mattias Ekstrom, is now in fourth place after 11 rounds of Dakar 2026. The Swedish Ford Racing driver is 21 minutes and 32 seconds behind Al-Attiyah's Dacia.

Fifth place is now claimed by Ford's Carlos Sainz. The four-time Dakar winner is 28 minutes and 48 seconds behind the Dacia of Nasser Al-Attiyah.

Stage 12 will see competitors head from the city of Al Henakiyah to the Red Sea port of Yanbu, where this year's edition of the rally began 12 days ago. Tomorrow's 720km stage includes a 311km long timed special and is a mix of fast tracks, rocky river beds and small dunes and will be the final challenge for competitors ahead of the final stage in Yanbu.
