Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition Launched At Rs 9.09 Lakh - Limited Run Feature Boost

Citroen has introduced a limited-run Comfort Edition for the Aircross SUV, bringing a set of interior upgrades to the model. With the base-spec You trim, the new Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition comes at a Rs 20,000 premium and is priced at Rs 9.09 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition is also offered with the mid-spec Plus variant, but at no additional cost over the standard trim. Citroen appears to be using the update to address one of the Aircross' biggest criticisms: a lack of premium features compared to rivals in the same price bracket.

Citroen is also offering optional custom packs across the Aircross range. The You Pack costs Rs 36,600 and adds soft-touch interior trims, fog lamps, a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a reverse camera with guidelines, chrome-insert door cladding and wheel covers.

The Plus Pack is priced at Rs 8,460 and includes a reverse camera with guidelines, a wireless charger, chrome-insert door cladding and additional exterior styling touches. The Max Pack, at Rs 40,000, adds a JBL audio system with amplifier along with front and rear dashcams featuring audio alerts.

Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition Features

The Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition gets beige leatherette upholstery across the range, a feature usually reserved for higher trims in this segment, along with adjustable front and rear headrests and a black grained finish on interior trims.

Soft-touch finishes and silver accents have also been added on select trim pieces to improve the cabin's perceived quality. Depending on variant, the SUV continues to offer a 10.2-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch digital driver's display, wireless smartphone connectivity, steering-mounted audio controls, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, an auto-dimming IRVM and a wireless charger.

Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition Engine & Gearbox Options

The Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition You trim is offered solely with an 82hp, 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The same engine-gearbox combination is available on the Plus variant as well.

The Plus variant additionally offers a more powerful 110hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with a six-speed manual gearbox. The top-spec Max trim comes only with the 110hp engine, offered with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.
