BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic Launched At Rs 41.90 Lakh - 520km Range

Chinese EV giant BYD has launched the Sealion 7 Dynamic, a new variant of its flagship eSUV, at an introductory price of Rs 41.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant gives buyers a more accessible entry point into BYD's premium eSUV lineup.

With the addition of the new Dynamic trim, the Sealion 7 range now spans three variants, Dynamic, Premium and Performance, and is offered in four colours: Atlantis Grey, Cosmos Black, Aurora White and Shark Grey.

BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic: Price, Variants and Battery Options

The BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic sits below the existing Premium and Performance trims, widening choice across BYD's premium EV portfolio. Buyers can now pick between a 71.8kWh Blade Battery on the Dynamic and a larger 82.56kWh pack on the higher variants, depending on their range and performance needs.

The BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic is powered by the smaller 71.8kWh Blade Battery,that offers a claimed range of 520km on the NEDC cycle and accelerates from 0-100km/h in 7.3 seconds.

The BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic is built on BYD's dedicated e-platform 3.0 and follows the brand's Ocean Aesthetics design language. It carries over the model's Cell-to-Body construction, Intelligent Torque Adaptation Control, a panoramic glass roof and a rotating touchscreen infotainment display, alongside an extensive suite of driver assistance and safety systems.

With the introduction of the new SEALION 7 Dynamic, we are expanding the portfolio to cater to a more diverse customer base while offering increased options to potential buyers. As a new expression of SEALION 7, the Dynamic variant will further strengthen its position in India's premium EV segment by bringing BYD's advanced technologies, safety standards and sustainable mobility solutions within the reach of more customers."

The launch of the BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic coincides with BYD India's Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD festive campaign, running since August 1, 2026. Sealion 7 Dynamic buyers get a complimentary 7kW home charger with installation, a 10-year RSA coverage extension, and an extended warranty on the LFP LV battery for 10 years or 1.5 lakh km, whichever comes first.

Since its India debut in 2025, the Sealion 7 has crossed more than 4,000 units on Indian roads and holds a maximum five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
