BMW X6 M60i xDrive Coupe SUV Launching Soon: Pre-Bookings Open

Pre-bookings for the upcoming BMW X6 M60i xDrive have officially begun in India. The coupe-style luxury SUV is expected to launch in the Indian market in the coming weeks along with the price announcement.

BMW X6 M60i xDrive Pre-Bookings Open

BMW, one of the most popular premium luxury car brands globally, is preparing to introduce the updated X6 M60i xDrive in India. Interested buyers can pre-book the SUV through authorised BMW dealerships or via the brand's official website.

The previous version of the X6 was discontinued in India back in 2023, and the new model will return as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). The updated SUV arrives with several major upgrades, including refreshed styling, new technology features, and a powerful V8 engine.

Design Elements

The new BMW X6 M60i xDrive features BMW's signature coupe-SUV design with a refreshed kidney grille, sharper LED headlamps, redesigned DRLs, and a more aggressive front bumper. M-specific styling elements further enhance the sporty and premium appearance of the SUV.

Other exterior highlights include large 21-inch alloy wheels, blacked-out ORVMs, red brake calipers, updated LED tail lamps, and a dual sporty exhaust system that adds to its performance-focused character.

Powerful V8 Mild Hybrid Engine

Powering the SUV is a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The setup produces 523 hp and 750 Nm of torque and comes mated to BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system along with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

This configuration allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 4.5 seconds, making it one of the quickest luxury SUVs in its segment. BMW has also tuned the steering and chassis setup to deliver better handling, improved stability, and a more engaging driving experience.

Luxury and Tech Loaded

Inside the cabin, the BMW X6 M60i xDrive borrows several premium features from the latest BMW X5. The SUV gets BMW's curved display setup that combines a 12.3-inch digital driver display with a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Additional features include powered and ventilated front seats, multi-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate with hands-free operation, wireless charging, smartphone connectivity, and multiple ADAS safety features for enhanced comfort and convenience.

Price expectations

BMW is yet to officially announce the pricing of the SUV. However, the new BMW X6 M60i xDrive is expected to be priced at around Rs 1.5 crore (ex-showroom) in India. The launch is expected to take place within the next few weeks. With its powerful V8 engine, coupe-inspired styling, and luxury-focused cabin, the BMW X6 M60i xDrive is expected to attract premium performance SUV buyers in India.
