BMW To Increase Prices Across Lineup From July: Here's Why

BMW Group India has announced its second price hike of 2026, with revised prices set to come into effect from July 1, 2026. The luxury carmaker had previously increased prices in April this year and will now raise prices by up to 2% across its portfolio.

BMW Hikes Prices From July 2026

German luxury automobile manufacturer BMW Group stated that the latest price revision is primarily driven by the depreciation of the Indian rupee and rising logistics costs. The company said these factors have significantly increased operational expenses, prompting another round of price adjustments within a short span of time.

According to BMW Group India President and CEO Hardeep Singh Brar, "Our robust demand and exceptional product range allow BMW Group India to consistently set new benchmarks in the luxury mobility space."

He further added, "To protect our premium standards against macroeconomic headwinds - specifically rupee depreciation and escalating logistics costs - we are introducing a price increase of up to 2% across our portfolio, effective 1 July 2026. This adjustment ensures the uninterrupted delivery of the superior engineering and world-class care our buyers expect."

Applicable to All Models

The price increase will apply to BMW's locally assembled and imported vehicles sold in India. Models affected include the BMW 2 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series, X1, X3, X5, X7, iX1 Long Wheelbase, and the BMW M340i.

The revision will also impact Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU) models such as the BMW i5 M60, i7, i7 M70, iX, M440i Convertible, M2 Coupe, M4 Competition, M5, and XM. Several Mini models sold in India will also become more expensive from July 1.

Mini is also preparing to launch the 2026 Countryman C on June 17, 2026. It could also witness a price revision under the new pricing structure. BMW is expected to announce model-wise price revisions closer to the implementation date next month.
