Bentley Continental GT S Unveiled With 671bhp Cross-Plane V8 & Advanced Chassis Setup
Bentley has revealed the Continental GT S, a new grand tourer positioned within the Continental GT range that blends the marque's handcrafted luxury with enhanced chassis technologies previously reserved for higher-spec models.
The Bentley Continental GT S carries over the 4.0-litre cross-plane V8 hybrid powertrain, which combines internal combustion and electric systems to deliver around 671bhp and 930Nm of peak torque. This, Bentley claims, is enough for a 0-100km/h sprint time of 3.5seconds and a top speed of 305km/h.

The twin-turbo V8 engine in the new Bentley Continental GT S is aided by an electric motor mounted within the 8-speed automatic gearbox. The motor draws power from a 25.9Kwh battery pack that allows for an electric-only range of 80km on a single charge for the Bentley Continental GT S.
Bentley has equipped the Continental GT S with its 'Performance Active Chassis', a suite of dynamic systems that includes active all-wheel drive, twin-valve adaptive dampers, torque vectoring and a 48V anti-roll system inherited from Speed and Mulliner derivatives of the Continental range.

The active chassis also incorporates a new-generation electronic stability control and all-wheel steering, along with an electronic limited-slip differential. These systems combine to enhance agility, body control, and directional stability across diverse driving conditions. The British marque calls it the most advanced and driver-focused all-wheel-drive setup in the Continental portfolio.
Visually, the Continental GT S adopts darker exterior detailing, including black Bentley wings and script, black mirror caps, sills and a rear diffuser. These elements contribute to a more aggressive visual identity compared with lighter-trim Continental GT variants.

The Bentley Continental GT S rides on 22-inch wheels as standard and Bentley offers an array of alternative wheel designs to customers seeking different aesthetics. Interior surfaces combine piano black veneers with technical fabrics and two-tone upholstery.
Bentley's new Continental GT S and its convertible equivalent, the GTC S, expand the fourth-generation Continental's lineup, offering alternatives to the regular Continental GT with enhanced dynamic capability without resorting to track-extreme specifications.

Although specific pricing and market-launch details have not been publicly confirmed by Bentley, the new GT S will sit between the standard Continental GT and the range's highest-performance Speed trims.
