Audi SQ8 Bookings Open Ahead Of March 17 Launch
German luxury carmaker Audi has opened bookings for the new SQ8 ahead of its official launch scheduled for March 17, 2026. Customers can reserve the Audi SQ8 performance SUV by paying a booking amount of Rs 5 lakh through the Audi India website or the myAudi Connect application.
The SQ8 will join Audi's Q8 line-up as a sportier variant of the SUV positioned between the standard Q8 and the range-topping RS Q8. The SQ8 combines the coupe-SUV design of the Q8 with performance upgrades from Audi's S division, and prices for the SUV will be revealed at its launch on March 17 in Delhi.
Under the bonnet, the Audi SQ8 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 TFSI petrol engine producing 500hp and 770Nm of peak torque. The SQ8's engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels with the help of Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system.
Audi claims the SQ8 can sprint from 0-100kmph in 4.1 seconds, and it will continue to accelerate till it tops out at an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. The Audi SQ8 also features adaptive air suspension and all-wheel steering to enhance its handling and ride stability.
In terms of design, the Audi SQ8 features several visual updates over the standard Q8. These include larger air intakes, S-specific badging, matte silver exterior elements and quad exhaust tips, along with larger alloy wheels.
Inside, the Audi SQ8 features a premium cabin with Alcantara and leather upholstery all around. The SQ8's dashboard houses dual 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster with Audi's S-division-specific graphics. Other interior feature highlights include a panoramic sunroof, head-up display, electrically adjustable front seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions, along with Audi's connected car technology.
