2027 Hyundai Grandeur Facelift Revealed With 17-Inch Infotainment Screen & Smart Vision Roof

The Hyundai Grandeur has gotten its mid-cycle facelift as a 2027 model, marking 40 years since the nameplate first appeared in 1986. Hyundai's flagship sedan sits above the Sonata in the lineup and is also known as the Hyundai Azera in markets outside of South Korea.

The 2027 Hyundai Grandeur update brings revised exterior styling, a new 17-inch Pleos infotainment system, and a first-of-its-kind electronically adjustable panoramic roof.

At 5,050 mm, the facelifted Grandeur grows 15 mm over the outgoing model. The front is the biggest change - a longer hood creates a sharper "shark nose" profile, while the partitioned grille gives way to a seamless single-block unit with mesh patterning.

The headlight clusters are now thinner, with a separate horizontal LED strip handling the daytime running lights. At the rear, the full-width LED taillight bar slims down further and integrates turn signals. A new Artistic Burgundy shade, combining pearl and matte surfaces, joins the colour palette.

The cabin's centrepiece is Hyundai's new Pleos Connect infotainment - a 17-inch centrally mounted touchscreen running Android Automotive OS. Physical shortcut buttons sit at the base of the display for muscle memory access to key functions.

Climate controls move to the touchscreen, tied to concealed electric air vents that let occupants adjust airflow direction and volume digitally. The instrument cluster is retained but sits smaller and higher, closer to the driver's line of sight.

The 2027 Grandeur is Hyundai's first production model with a Smart Vision Roof - a panoramic panel that transitions electrically between transparent and opaque states. Interior trim includes quilted upholstery, knot piping, real wood and metal accents, all available in a new Artisan Burgundy colourway.

Hyundai has not confirmed powertrain details for the facelifted model. The pre-facelift Grandeur offered three options: a naturally aspirated 2.5-litre GDi producing 198 PS, a 1.6-litre turbo hybrid with a combined 230 PS, and a 3.5-litre V6 rated at 300 PS and 359 Nm. These are expected to carry over unchanged, though no official announcement has been made. Both FWD and AWD configurations were on offer.

2027 Hyundai Grandeur Facelift - Expected Pricing

The current Hyundai Grandeur starts at KRW 37,980,000 in South Korea - approximately ₹24.40 lakh at current exchange rates. A price increase is expected with the facelift given the scope of updates.
