2026 Skoda Kodiaq Revealed: Gets ADAS, 360-Degree Camera

Czech carmaker Skoda has updated its flagship Kodiaq SUV for 2026, bringing an ADAS suite to its three-row flagship for the first time in India. Prices for the updated 2026 Skoda Kodiaq have not been revealed.

Seven driver assistance functions are now on offer with the 2026 Skoda Kodiaq: adaptive cruise control, adaptive headlights, frontal assist with auto-braking, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, rear traffic alert, and an exit warning system.

The ADAS suite is available across the mid-spec Sportline and top-spec Selection L&K trims of the 2026 Skoda Kodiaq. The base Lounge 5-seater sees no changes. The 2026 Kodiaq is currently the only Skoda on sale in India equipped with ADAS, mirroring the feature set of the recently launched Volkswagen T-Roc.

Beyond driver assistance, the 2026 Skoda Kodiaq Sportline variant now includes a 360-degree camera and a grille-embedded LED strip, both previously exclusive to the Selection L&K. That makes the mid-spec trim considerably better equipped than before without stepping up to the flagship variant.

Skoda has also revised the colour palette for the 2026 Kodiaq. Steel Grey is no longer available for the Sportline variant, and Red Velvet has been dropped from the L&K lineup, a move likely linked to the Kodiaq RS, expected to arrive in India later this year, which uses a similar red paint job.

No mechanical changes accompany the 2026 Skoda Kodiaq update. The 2026 Kodiaq continues with its 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol unit producing 204hp and 320Nm, driving all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Skoda is yet to announce prices for the 2026 Kodiaq, with a launch expected later this month. The update to the Skoda Kodiaq is expected to push prices up by as much as ₹75,000 over the outgoing model, which currently starts at ₹39.99 lakh. Rivals to the 2026 Skoda Kodiaq include the Volkswagen Tayron, Toyota Fortuner, and MG Majestor.
