2026 Skoda Kodiaq Launched - Gets ADAS, Base Variant Now Rs 3 Lakh Cheaper

Skoda has launched the 2026 Kodiaq in India, priced from Rs 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The three-variant lineup stays mechanically unchanged, but the update brings Level-2 ADAS features and a revised equipment list to the range.

The sharpest pricing shift is on the base Lounge 5-seater, which drops by Rs 3 lakh to Rs 36.99 lakh. The Sportline 7-seater rises by Rs 1 lakh, and the Selection Laurin & Klement 7-seater goes up by Rs 50,000.

2026 Skoda Kodiaq - ADAS & New Equipment

Level-2 ADAS is now available on the Sportline and Selection L&K variants of the 2026 Kodiaq. The system includes features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, front warning assist, and rear cross traffic alert.

The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq Sportline has also been upgraded with features previously exclusive to the L&K trim. These include an illuminated grille, Level-1 ADAS functions, a 360-degree parking camera, and a pre-crash occupant protection system. No exterior or interior design changes come with the MY26 model.

The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq carries forward a 12.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, and a 13-speaker Canton sound system. Front seats are 12-way powered with ventilation, heating, and massage functions.

Other equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, three-zone climate control, drive and traction modes, heated and auto-dimming ORVMs, an auto-dimming IRVM, and a wireless phone charger. Safety hardware spans 9 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a park assist system, electronic stability program, electronic differential lock, hill start assist, hill descent control, rain brake support, and all-wheel disc brakes.

The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol unit carries over unchanged, producing 204 PS and 320 Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. All-wheel drive is standard across every variant, with Skoda claiming a fuel efficiency figure of 14.86 kmpl.

The Skoda Kodiaq competes with the Toyota Fortuner, Volkswagen Tayron R-Line, MG Gloster, and Jeep Meridian. It will also take on the upcoming MG Majestor once that model reaches showrooms.
