1.3L Turbo TCe 160 Petrol Engine

The 1.3L turbo petrol engine, paired with mild-hybrid technology, produces 163 PS, making it one of the most powerful options in its segment. It comes mated to a 6-speed DCT transmission. This is a Mercedes-derived powertrain and is suitable for customers who want both power and efficiency.

This powertrain is available from the Techno trim onwards, starting at ₹15.49 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top variant is priced at ₹16.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The mild-hybrid setup balances performance and efficiency, while the 6-speed DCT ensures smooth and quick gear shifts, enhancing the overall driving experience.

1.8L Full Hybrid Engine

The top-spec powertrain, a 1.8L strong hybrid, is expected to be introduced around Diwali 2026. It combines a naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 1.4 kWh battery pack and dual electric motors. This setup is paired with a segment-first 8-speed DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission), derived from Formula 1 technology.

The system ensures smooth and linear power delivery along with strong torque performance. Renault claims a fuel efficiency of around 24-26 km/l, and the hybrid system is capable of driving at 80% electric mode in city driving conditions.
