2026 Renault Duster Base Variant At ₹10.29 Lakh – What Do You Get?
Renault has launched the new Duster in India with a completely refreshed design, updated exterior styling, and new powertrain options. The brand has also announced the starting price of the 2026 Duster's Authentic (base) variant. Here's a detailed look at what the entry-level trim offers.
2026 Renault Duster Authentic (base) Features
The base variant of the Renault Duster, called the Authentic trim, is powered by a 1.0-litre Turbo TCe 3-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine is also seen on the Renault Kiger and produces 100 hp, offering a balanced mix of performance and efficiency.
Exterior
On the outside, the Duster Authentic trim comes equipped with several modern styling elements, including LED tail lamps, Eco LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED indicators on ORVMs, a high-mounted LED stop lamp, and LED reverse lamps. It also features a signature grille with the Duster emblem, roof spoiler, skid plates, and body-coloured ORVMs, giving it a rugged yet contemporary appeal.
Interior
In terms of convenience, the base variant offers practical features such as 60:40 split rear seats, rear AC vents, driver seat height adjustment, an illuminated glove box, manual air conditioning, a 7-inch TFT driver display, a tilt/ telescopic steering wheel, and electric power steering. The cabin follows a black and grey upholstery. The base variant does not come with an infotainment system.
Safety Features
Safety is a strong highlight, with the Duster offering a comprehensive package that includes six airbags as standard, traction control system, cornering stability control, 3-point seat belts for all passengers, impact-sensing door unlock, speed-sensing door locks, rear door child lock, central locking, speed alert warning, pedestrian protection, rollover sensor, follow-me-home headlamps, ISOFIX mounts, ABS, TPMS, rear parking assist, power windows with auto up/down, and adjustable headrests.
Colours and Price
The Authentic base trim is available in three colour options: Pearl White, Stealth Black, and Moonlight Silver. It rides on 17-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, as alloy wheels are not offered in this variant.
