Locally Assembled 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography Launched At ₹1.6 Crore

Land Rover has launched the locally assembled Range Rover Sport Autobiography in India at ₹1.6 crore (ex-showroom), with bookings open immediately. This is the first time the Autobiography trim has been offered on an India-assembled Range Rover Sport. The 4.4-litre V8 version continues as a fully imported CBU.

Two 3.0-litre engines are available in locally assembled form - both paired with an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. The D350 diesel produces 351hp and 700Nm, covering the same sprint in 5.8 seconds and topping out at 234km/h.

The P400 petrol makes 400hp and 550Nm, hitting 100km/h in 5.5 seconds with a 242km/h top speed. The fully imported Autobiography sports a 4.4-litre V8 - 530hp, 750Nm - with a 0-100km/h time of 4.5 seconds and a 250km/h top speed.

The 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography features all-wheel steering, an electronically active differential with torque vectoring by braking, and dynamic air suspension with Dynamic Response Pro come as standard. Adaptive damping is part of the package too. Terrain Response Programs, adaptive off-road cruise control, hill descent control, and multiple traction and stability systems round out the chassis setup.

Range Rover Sport Autobiography: Design & Features

The 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography sits visually apart from lower Range Rover Sport trims with 22-inch forged alloy wheels in a satin black finish and red brake callipers. Autobiography badging, a Dynamic Exterior Pack, and soft-close doors are included.

Flush door handles, a powered gesture tailgate, laminated glass, and heated power-folding mirrors with memory and auto-dimming are also on the list. Two new colours join the palette - Borasco Grey and Ostuni Pearl White - alongside the existing Santorini Black and Carpathian Grey.

The 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography's cabin gets full extended leather with semi-aniline upholstery, SV Bespoke carpet mats, and illuminated metal treadplates with Autobiography branding.

The front seats are 22-way electrically adjustable with heating, ventilation, and massage. Rear seats are heated, ventilated, and reclining.

Four-zone climate control, cabin air purification, configurable ambient lighting, and a front centre console refrigerator are all standard on the 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography.

The 13.7-inch digital driver display pairs with a 13.1-inch infotainment screen that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A Meridian Signature sound system, head-up display, wireless charging, voice control, and rear seat entertainment screens complete the features package.
