2026 Lexus ES 350h Hybrid Sedan Launched in India
The hybrid segment in India has only a few players, and Toyota is one of the brands dominating this category. Its hybrid powertrain is shared across its lineup, including its sister brands. Lexus, being part of the Toyota Group, also offers hybrid powertrains for Indian consumers. It has recently launched the new ES 350h bringing best-in-class luxury in a hybrid form.
More Space and Wheelbase

The new ES 350h is taller, longer, and larger than the previous model, which is reflected in its increased cabin space, comfort, and stronger road presence. Built on the TNGA GA-K platform, this new vehicle is the eighth-generation model and will be locally assembled in India.
Elegant Exterior Design
Lexus has always followed a simple and elegant design philosophy, and the new ES 350h sedan carries the same DNA. It is bold, classy, and features a coupe-like finish at the rear. The front end is completely closed, which is a major departure from previous Lexus models, as they usually feature the brand's signature spindle grille design.
However, it retains the signature L-shaped LED DRLs along with blacked-out bumpers and LED headlamps. There is also a large air dam integrated into the bumper, with the Lexus logo mounted on the bonnet. The sides look much sportier, with a new character line running along the B-pillar and C-pillar, while the bottom section gets a floating design that extends towards the wheels. The rear features connected LED taillights with the Lexus lettering integrated into the light bar, along with a sporty rear bumper.
Advanced Hybrid Powertrain

The ES 350h is powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder strong hybrid powertrain paired with an e-CVT transmission. It produces a combined power output of 244 hp and a maximum torque of 270 Nm. This power output enables the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.7 seconds.
The naturally aspirated engine alone produces 185 hp and 235 Nm of torque, reducing the load on the battery and electric motor. Additionally, Lexus offers 8 years or 2 lakh Kms warranty for this powertrain.
Upmarket Luxury Interiors

The interior features Lexus' signature dual-tone brown and black leatherette upholstery with premium soft-touch materials. Visually, it looks stunning and upmarket, with a clean and minimalist design. At the centre, it gets a large 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while the steering wheel features mounted controls and a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster.
Next-Level Convenience & Safety
For passenger convenience, it gets a 17 speaker Mark Levinson premium sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, twin wireless chargers, three-zone climate control, ventilated and heated front seats, multi-colour ambient lighting, rear window sunshades, and a powered boot lid.

For safety, the Lexus ES 350h comes with 10 airbags, a surround-view camera, an electronic parking brake, auto hold, hill hold assist, electronic stability control, parking sensors, and Lexus Safety System+4 with radar-guided cruise control.
Price and Rivals
The price of the 2026 Lexus ES 350h sedan starts at Rs 66.10 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-of-the-line variant is priced at Rs 71.80 lakh (ex-showroom). This model joins the all-electric ES 500e in the lineup and competes against hybrid and EV models from brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, and Volvo in India.
