Willow Springs International Raceway has introduced a new logo, marking a fresh chapter for this iconic track. This rebranding reflects the raceway's dedication to becoming a premier automotive destination globally. While maintaining its rich history, Willow Springs aims to innovate and excel in the automotive field. Alongside the logo update, various track enhancements are underway to boost safety and enrich the experience for drivers and motorsport fans.
Sam Byrne, co-founder of CrossHarbor Capital Partners and part of the ownership group at Willow Springs, stated, "We are honored to steward the next chapter of Willow Springs and are committed to preserving its rich legacy while making meaningful improvements that prioritize safety, performance and the overall experience for motorsports enthusiasts." The new logo and initial upgrades are seen as foundational steps in reviving Willow Springs as a central hub for Southern California's car culture.
This October, Willow Springs will host an event called Willow Springs Reimagined. Open to the public, it will feature a car show with a cars-and-coffee theme, on-track activities, rare vehicles from Petersen Automotive Museum and Singer Vehicle Design, a F.A.T. International activation, exclusive merchandise, food trucks, and various vendors. Details about ongoing improvements and future plans will be shared as they become available.
The raceway's original 2.5-mile track with nine turns remains unchanged since its inception. It offers a challenging experience with high-speed straights, elevation changes, and technical corners. This historic track is entering a new era through a partnership between CrossHarbor Capital Partners and Singer Vehicle Design. Both groups aim to honor its legacy while establishing it as North America's leading motorsports hub.
