Walser Automotive Group Announces New Mitsubishi Dealership Opening In Burnsville Area By April 2025
Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) has seen a surge in interest from potential partners since unveiling its Momentum 2030 plan. This strategy aims to launch new and updated vehicles annually through 2030, enhance digital shopping processes, and expand dealership locations. The plan has attracted attention from both consumers and dealers, positioning Mitsubishi as a desirable brand in the automotive market.
Walser Automotive Group, based in Bloomington, Minnesota, is set to become one of Mitsubishi's newest dealer partners. As the 26th largest auto dealer group in the U.S., Walser will open a new facility in Burnsville, Minnesota, in April 2025. This move will introduce Mitsubishi's range of high-quality SUVs and plug-in hybrids to the area.

The Momentum 2030 plan outlines MMNA's commitment to launching new or refreshed models each year until 2030. These vehicles will feature advanced technology engines, including hybrids and battery electrics. The product lineup is expected to nearly double from its current four models, reflecting Mitsubishi's dedication to innovation and growth.
Mark Chaffin, MMNA president and CEO, expressed pride in welcoming Walser Automotive Group as a partner. "With the unveiling of our comprehensive and far-reaching Momentum 2030 business plan, we knew Mitsubishi Motors was going to turn heads," he stated. Chaffin highlighted Walser's commitment to customer satisfaction as essential for advancing Mitsubishi's presence in the U.S.
Established in 1954, Walser Automotive Group has grown from a single franchise to over 20 brands across 35 facilities. Known for pioneering the "one person, one price" buying process, Walser emphasises trust and personalised service. This aligns with MMNA's goal of exceeding customer expectations at every opportunity.
Andrew Walser, CEO of Walser Automotive Group, shared his excitement about bringing Mitsubishi to Burnsville. "We're excited to bring Mitsubishi Motors to the Burnsville community as we continue our mission to provide an effortless customer experience and a better way to buy a car," he said. He noted that Mitsubishi's focus on innovation complements Walser's dedication to building strong community relationships.
