2025 Volvo XC60 Facelift Launched At Rs 71.90 Lakh

Swedish carmaker Volvo has launched the facelifted version of its XC60 SUV, marking the second facelift for this model. With a price tag of Rs 71.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2025 Volvo XC60 refresh comes approximately three years after the previous update and follows its global reveal by just over five months.

The new Volvo XC60 facelift has not undergone any mechanical alterations. Instead, the modifications are focused on enhancing its aesthetic appeal and expanding its feature set.

The XC60's exterior updates have been kept minimal, preserving its recognizable shape. Notably, it sports a new diagonal-slat grille, alongside redesigned front bumpers and alloy wheels. Although the tail-lights maintain their original design, they now feature a smoked effect, aligning the SUV more closely with the aesthetics of the Volvo XC90 flagship.

To complement the existing color palette, which includes Crystal White, Onyx Black, Denim Blue, Bright Dusk, and Vapour Grey, Volvo has introduced two new shades: Forest Lake and Mulberry Red, while phasing out Platinum Grey.

Inside, the biigest update is the addition of an 11.2-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment display. This infotainment unit is not only larger and offers superior image quality compared to its predecessor but is also powered by a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and comes connected to a 1,410W Bowers and Wilkins audio system, which includes 15 speakers.

Other notable features of the 2025 Volvo xC60 facelift include a 12.3-inch driver's display, Nappa leather upholstery, and massaging functions for the front seats.

Under the bonnet, the 2025 XC60 retains its 2-litre turbo-petrol engine, coupled with an automatic transmission. This setup delivers a peak output of 250hp and 360Nm of torque, distributed across all four wheels via an 8-speed torque converter gearbox.

Additionally, the XC60 comes equipped with a 48V mild hybrid battery that supports the engine, which not only improves fuel efficiency but also enhances acceleration, thereby offering a blend of performance and eco-friendliness.

The updated Volvo XC60 competes with the likes of the the Mercedes GLC, BMW X3, and Audi Q5.
