India-Bound Volvo XC60 Facelift Details You Need To Know
Volvo has recently introduced a facelift for its globally popular model, the Volvo XC60, for the MY26 lineup. This update brings a fresh look and enhanced features to one of the brand's top sellers. With an expected launch in several international markets, the updated XC60 is also anticipated to make its way to India, promising an array of exterior and interior enhancements that aim to elevate its elegance and functionality.
The exterior of the Volvo XC60 facelift has been refined to offer a more sophisticated appearance. A notable change is the introduction of a new grille that mirrors the design seen on the XC90, coupled with updated alloy wheel designs. Additionally, Volvo has introduced three new color options - Forest Lake, Aurora Silver, and Mulberry Red - adding to the vehicle's aesthetic appeal.

Under the hood, the Volvo XC60 maintains its existing powertrain options, including a selection of internal combustion engines paired with mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid systems. The variants include the B5 with a 250 bhp 2.0L Turbo Petrol Mild Hybrid AWD, the B6 featuring a 300 bhp 2.0L Turbo & Supercharged Petrol Mild Hybrid AWD, and the T6, a 2.0L Plug-in Hybrid AWD delivering 455 bhp.
In the Indian market, the current offering is the XC60 B5 variant, equipped with a 250 bhp Turbo Petrol AWD system. This configuration is expected to continue with the introduction of the updated model. Although the specific timeline for the Indian launch remains unconfirmed, the Volvo XC60 will compete against a host of luxury SUVs such as the Merc GLC, BMW X3, Audi Q5, Lexus NX, Jaguar F-Pace, and Land Rover Range Rover Evoque.
