Volvo is gearing up to introduce the facelifted XC90 in India, following its global unveiling last September. The refreshed model aligns with the brand's latest design ethos, echoing the look of its electric counterpart, the EX90. Exterior Design Updates
The front of the Volvo XC90 facelift now features a redesigned grille and new headlights with T-shaped daytime running lights. The air dam has also been revised. Although this is a facelift, changes to the side and rear profiles are minimal, preserving the SUV's familiar silhouette.

Inside, the XC90 boasts a larger touchscreen infotainment system. The layout remains similar to the previous version but includes additional storage space in the centre console. Ergonomic improvements are expected, alongside Frequency Selective Damping technology for an improved suspension setup.

Globally, the updated XC90 continues with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. It offers either a 48V mild-hybrid or a plug-in hybrid system. The PHEV variant is particularly noteworthy with an 18.8kWh battery providing a 70km electric-only range.
