Inside, the EX30 Cross Country is practical and tech-savvy. The doors feature large storage spaces due to relocated speakers integrated into the dashboard soundbar. A central storage tunnel can be adjusted for various uses, while a removable storage box under the rear seats doubles as a waste bin. The boot lid includes a 'Will it fit?' guide for easy packing.

The exterior design of the EX30 Cross Country reflects its capabilities. It features dark-coloured front shields and boot lids adorned with artwork inspired by Sweden's Kebnekaise mountain range. Skid plates and wheel arch extensions enhance its rugged appearance, signalling readiness for outdoor adventures.

Safety remains a priority for Volvo, with the EX30 Cross Country incorporating advanced safety technologies. It includes braking and steering support to avoid collisions with vehicles, pedestrians, or cyclists. A driver monitoring sensor alerts if distraction or fatigue is detected. Google Maps integration ensures easy navigation to remote locations.

Volvo's CEO Jim Rowan emphasised the importance of delivering more than just a vehicle: "We launched our first Cross Country car over 25 years ago... That’s why we want to deliver a fully rounded experience, not simply a car." This approach aligns with Volvo's commitment to providing durable vehicles suitable for all weather conditions.

Cross Country Experience Package

The launch of the EX30 Cross Country also introduces an experience package aimed at enhancing outdoor exploration. This package includes accessories like load carriers, roof baskets, all-terrain tires, and mudflaps. These offerings are designed to support customers' adventurous pursuits.

Jim Rowan noted the growing desire among people to connect with nature: "This is why with our new Cross Country Experience, we aim to create an entire ecosystem around those models." This initiative underscores Volvo's dedication to fostering adventure through comprehensive support for their customers.
