Volkswagen ID. Buzz Receives 2025 MotorWeek Drivers' Choice Award For Best Electric Vehicle

The 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz has been honoured with the MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice award for Best EV. This vehicle, a nod to the classic Microbus, captures the spirit of adventure and freedom. Andrew Savvas, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for North America, stated, "Just as the original Microbus embodied a spirit of freedom and adventure, the ID. Buzz captures the imagination of a new generation, inspiring joy and excitement for the future of electric mobility."

MotorWeek's editorial team evaluates over 150 vehicles each year to determine their annual Drivers’ Choice Awards. The selection process involves rigorous testing and research, focusing on performance, design, value, and how well vehicles meet changing consumer needs. John Davis from MotorWeek remarked that no modern automaker understands its heritage better than Volkswagen.

The ID. Buzz combines retro charm with modern technology, featuring a distinctive exterior that includes an oversized VW logo and vibrant colour choices for personalisation. Inside, it boasts a spacious interior with three rows of seats accommodating up to seven passengers and ample cargo space.

Standard features include a 12.9-inch infotainment display, a 30-colour ambient lighting system, IQ.DRIVE® driver assistance technology, and Park Assist Plus with Memory Parking. The starting price is $59,995 MSRP plus a destination fee of $1,550 for all models.
