Volkswagen ID. Buzz Earns Title Of Best Car To Buy 2025 From Green Car Reports
The all-electric Volkswagen ID. Buzz, a modern take on the classic microbus, starts at $59,995 MSRP. Rear-wheel-drive models produce 282 horsepower, while the 4Motion® all-wheel-drive versions offer 335 hp. Volkswagen of America has announced that the ID. Buzz has been named Green Car Reports’ Best Car To Buy 2025.
Volkswagen's ID. Buzz is available in three trims: Pro S, Pro S Plus, and a limited launch-only 1st Edition. It offers both rear-wheel-drive and 4Motion® all-wheel-drive options. The rear-wheel-drive variant provides an EPA-estimated range of 234 miles, while the all-wheel-drive version offers a range of 231 miles.

The ID. Buzz combines retro charm with modern technology, featuring an oversized VW logo and short overhangs alongside vibrant colour options for personalisation. This electric vehicle accommodates up to seven passengers across three rows and offers ample cargo space, merging practicality with performance.

Charging Plan Details
The ID. Buzz includes a three-year charging plan from Electrify America with Pass+ membership and 500 kWh of complimentary charging. Pass+ members save about 25% compared to standard rates. This plan begins upon vehicle purchase but excludes idle fees during charging sessions.
