Volkswagen Group of America (VWGoA) has been honoured as a Top Employer in the United States by the Top Employers Institute. This recognition highlights VWGoA's dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, upholding strong values, and prioritising employee well-being. Alongside Volkswagen Group Canada and Volkswagen de Mexico, the brand is now acknowledged as a Top Employer across North America for 2025.

The Top Employers Institute certifies organisations that excel in HR practices. Their Human Resources Best Practices Survey evaluates areas like people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, diversity and inclusion, and employee well-being. VWGoA scored highly for promoting a sense of belonging through Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), community involvement via volunteer opportunities, and robust family benefits.

Volkswagen offers initiatives to enhance employee experiences, such as favourable vehicle lease rates and generous 401(k) plans. An internal survey revealed that employees value the company's commitment to integrity, strong values, and responsive management. Building on its U.S. recognition, Volkswagen's operations in North America, including Canada and Mexico, were also recognised as Regional Top Employers. VWGoA is one of 55 U.S. employers certified for 2025. This marks the fourth time it has received this certification. Companies participating in the Top Employers Institute Certification Program are validated and recognised as employers of choice.

Volkswagen Group of America is a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, a leading global automobile manufacturer and Europe's largest carmaker. VWGoA manages U.S. operations for brands like Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Volkswagen. It imports Bugatti and Rimac vehicles in the U.S., operates an assembly facility in Chattanooga producing Atlas models and ID.4 vehicles.

VW Credit Inc., under VWGoA as "Volkswagen Financial Services," offers financial services and mobility solutions. Electrify America is building a nationwide electric vehicle charging network. ADMT LLC tests autonomous vehicle technology for VWGoA.

Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, VWGoA employs about 10,000 people in the U.S., selling vehicles through around 1,000 independent dealers.
