Volkswagen has started delivering the Golf GTI, a renowned sports hatchback, to customers in India. The first delivery was made to a buyer in Chennai, as shared by a user on Instagram. Initially, Volkswagen planned to sell only 150 units of the Golf GTI in India. However, these units were sold out even before the prices were announced.

Given the high demand, Volkswagen decided to bring an additional 100 units of this sporty hatchback to the Indian market. This decision reflects the popularity and anticipation surrounding the Golf GTI among Indian car enthusiasts.
