2025 Volkswagen Tiguan Pricing Announced With Enhanced Features And Technology
Volkswagen of America, Inc. has revealed the pricing for its new 2025 Tiguan. The base model, known as the S trim, starts at $29,495 for front-wheel drive and $30,995 for all-wheel drive. All models have a destination fee of $1,425. The third-generation Tiguan offers enhanced interior features and materials, including a standard 12.9-inch display with an optional 15-inch version.
The Tiguan's entry-level S trim comes with newly designed 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and LED lighting. It also includes power-adjustable side mirrors and silver anodized roof rails. Inside, the cabin features a leatherette multifunction steering wheel and manual-adjustable seats. A new gear selector on the steering column frees up space for a larger center console.

The SE trim builds on the S model with a starting price of $32,995 for front-wheel drive and $33,975 for all-wheel drive. This version includes 19-inch alloy wheels, remote start capability, and a power tailgate. The SE also introduces an Atmospheres feature that combines ambient lighting and audio settings to create a personalised mood inside the vehicle.
For those seeking more luxury, the SEL R-Line is priced at $39,755 and comes standard with all-wheel drive. This top-tier model features 20-inch R-Line silver alloy wheels and various exterior enhancements like LED headlights and taillights. Inside, it boasts a 15-inch central display and Harman Kardon premium audio system.
The 2025 Tiguan enhances safety with four additional airbags, bringing the total to ten. These include center airbags and driver knee airbags. The side curtain airbags now cover a larger area for improved protection. Driver assistance technologies such as IQ.DRIVE® are standard across all models.
All Tiguan models come equipped with a revised 2.0-liter engine producing 201 horsepower. The vehicle also includes trailer hitch preparation: 1,500 pounds for front-wheel-drive models and 1,800 pounds for all-wheel-drive versions.
SE R-Line Black Edition
The SE R-Line Black edition starts at $35,455 for front-wheel drive (availability delayed) and $36,955 for all-wheel drive. This variant adds unique styling elements like black alloy wheels and R-Line badges. It also features a panoramic sunroof as standard equipment.

Volkswagen's Digital Cockpit Pro system is standard across all trims with a next-generation design featuring a 10.25-inch display. The infotainment system includes MIB4 technology with natural voice control capabilities.
The SEL R-Line provides additional luxury touches such as genuine American walnut wood décor on the dashboard and Varenna leather-covered seats with ventilation features.
The Tiguan's cargo area includes under-floor storage solutions along with second-row air vents to ensure passenger comfort during travel.
