VinFast VF6 & VF7 EVs Launched: Prices Start from ₹16.49 Lakh - Free Charging, 7-10 Year Warranty
Vietnamese automaker VinFast has launched VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in India. Prices for the Vifast VF6 start at Rs 16.49 lakh while the VF7 lineup starts at Rs 20.89 lakh (both prices are introductory ex-showroom).
Both the Vinfast VF6 and VF7 were first revealed to the Indian public at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Vinfast is offering free charging for both cars till July 2028 and free maintenance for 3 years. VinFast is also offering a warranty of 7 years or 2 lakh km for the VF6 and 10 years or 2 lakh km for the VF7.

Vinfast VF6 Launched - All The Details
The VF6 is the more affordable of the two electric SUV on offer and will be available in three trims, Earth, Wind and Wind Ifinity. All three trims use a 59.6 kWh LFP battery pack. The Earth variant produces 174hp and 250Nm, while the Wind trims offers 204hp and 310Nm of torque. Range figures for the Vinfast VF6 vary between 381km and 399km, depending on the chosen trim.
Design highlights include LED projector headlamps, eyebrow-style daytime running lights, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The compact dimensions place it in direct competition with other small EV crossovers.
Inside, the VF6 features a dual-tone cabin with a 12.9-inch touchscreen, head-up display, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof. Connectivity options include wireless charging and smartphone integration, while Level-2 ADAS functions are part of the standard safety package.
Vinfast VF7 Launched - All The Details
The larger VF7 is offered with a 70.8 kWh battery and two drivetrain options. The front-wheel-drive configuration produces between 201hp and 204hp with 310Nm of torque. The all-wheel-drive model delivers around 350hp and 500Nm, offering more performance capability.
Driving range for the VF7 is claimed at up to 450km for the front-wheel-drive variant. The equipment list includes a 15-inch infotainment display, head-up display, wireless charging, and connected car features. Safety highlights are eight airbags, Level-2 ADAS, and driver monitoring technology.
The cabin of the VF7 is designed with premium materials and offers a panoramic sunroof. Positioned as a mid-size SUV, it will compete against models in the growing premium electric SUV space in India, bringing additional choice to buyers in this segment.
The launch of the VF6 and VF7 marks VinFast's official entry into India, and both electric SUVs are being offered at stunning prices, which should really help them compete i the Indian market against the already present EV offerings.
