VinFast Limo Green MPV To Launch In Early 2026
Vietnamese EV manufacturer Vinfast is preparing to bring a new electric vehicle to India in early 2026 in the form of the VinFast Limo Green compact multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). The Vinfast Limo Green offers seating for 7 people (including the driver).
The Vinfast Limo Green with a 60.13 kWh battery pack and a claimed range of 450 km under the NEDC cycle. Its electric motor delivers 201 bhp and 280 Nm torque which is sent to the front axle of the MPV
The Vinfast Limo Green MPV rides on 18-inch wheels, and its footprint - 4,740 × 1,872 × 1,723 mm with a 2,840 mm wheelbase - promises a balance of cabin space and manoeuvrability. Inside, the Limo Green features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument display, flexible 3-row seating, and a basic four-airbag safety setup.
Alongside the Limo Green MPV, VinFast appears to be evaluating its flagship electric SUV, the VF 9 for the Indian market. The VF 9 uses a 123 kWh battery pack and delivers a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 402hp and 620 Nm of torque. The VF 9 offers a claimed range of up to 626km (WLTP) on a single charge.
The VF 9 is also quite a big upgrade in terms of size compared to Vinfast's current offerings, measuring 5,120 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, 1,721 mm in height, with a 3,150 mm long wheelbase.
Inside, VF 9 features a large 15.6-inch central touchscreen, premium cabin fit & finish, multiple comfort amenities, and a comprehensive safety package, including up to 11 airbags, tyre-pressure monitoring, 360-degree cameras, and a full suite of driver-assistance systems, according to global spec sheets. The VF 9 SUV is designed to seat 6-7 occupants and includes a panoramic roof, ventilated seats, and advanced infotainment and connected car features.

VinFast's planned rollout in India with both Limo Green and VF 9 indicates a diverse product strategy: the Limo Green targets cost-conscious buyers like thos served by the VF 6 and VF 7 as well as fleet/taxi operators who're all seeking roominess and practicality, while the VF 9 will target premium buyers seeking a full-size electric SUV with a long range, performance and luxury appointments, if Vinfast considers India ready for its flagship offering.
