Urban Automotive Expands To USA With New Division To Enhance Customer Experience

Urban Automotive has launched a new division in North and South America, marking a significant expansion. This move includes establishing a warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona, to directly serve these regions. The dedicated U.S. operation aims to enhance customer service by reducing delivery times and expanding Urban's network across the Americas.

Previously, Urban Automotive supplied the U.S. market through Milltek Corp, a Tennessee-based division of another British automotive brand. Now, with its own facility in Phoenix, Urban can better manage its supply chain and improve customer experience. This change is part of an international growth strategy by its parent company, The AM Group.

The U.S. expansion is a joint venture with Daniel Weber. He stated, "There is nothing like Urban in the U.S market and that is exactly why this joint venture makes sense. We are not replicating what others do, instead we are creating something distinctly European, unapologetically refined, and obsessively crafted for a new kind of client. My team is ready, and America’s ready."

Urban Automotive was founded 11 years ago and has become renowned for high-quality vehicle enhancements and OEM+ design. Its reputation has attracted customers globally, including many celebrities from North America.

Patrick Meijer, Group CEO of The AM Group, commented on this strategic move: "Over the past few years, Urban has grown from niche to be a benchmark brand chosen by those who dare to be different. Now, following the conclusion of our valued partnership with Milltek Corp, with our joint venture and dedicated service centre in place for North and South America, we are moving even closer to our clients, partners and builders on the other side of the Atlantic."

Luis Carrera from Urban Automotive added insights into their approach: "We are not here to make noise; we are here to get things done. This move puts stock on the ground, shortens the distance between our R&D and U.S. development, and brings us closer to our U.S. customers."

Urban's Unique Market Position

Urban Automotive stands out as one of the UK's leading luxury car modifiers since its inception in 2014. Specialising in carbon fibre styling kits for premium models, it operates from Milton Keynes.

This expansion aligns with The AM Group's broader international growth strategy. By establishing a local presence in America, Urban aims to blend British design with European refinement while catering to local demands.

The establishment of this new division represents a pivotal step for Urban Automotive as it continues to grow its influence beyond Europe into North and South America.
