Top 4 Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Cars In India You Should Know About
As the new year approaches, car enthusiasts in India have much to anticipate. Maruti, India's leading car manufacturer, is set to introduce several new models and facelifts in 2025. Among these anticipated launches is Maruti's first electric vehicle (EV) for the market, along with a potential three-row version of its popular SUV.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
The production-ready Maruti e Vitara, initially unveiled in Italy, has been teased for the Indian market. This electric SUV will debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 from January 17 to 22. The global model offers two battery options: 49kWh and 61kWh, promising a driving range of around 550 km. The Indian variant is expected to have similar specifications.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara (7-Seater)
A seven-seater version of the Maruti Grand Vitara was recently spotted on Indian roads. This suggests a possible launch in June 2025. The test model displayed distinct design elements compared to the five-seater version, drawing inspiration from the e-Vitara. However, official details about this upcoming SUV are yet to be confirmed by Maruti.
The seven-seater Grand Vitara is likely to retain features from its smaller counterpart. These include a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a 360-degree camera.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno
The Maruti Baleno, currently in its second generation, last received an update in 2022. With nearly two years since that facelift, another update is anticipated by March 2025. Rumours suggest this facelift might introduce a hybrid powertrain that Maruti has reportedly been developing since early 2024.
Expected features for the updated Baleno include an enlarged touchscreen display, a fully digital driver's display, a single-pane sunroof, a wireless phone charger, TPMS, and standard six airbags. These enhancements aim to keep the Baleno competitive in the premium hatchback segment.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza
The Maruti Brezza underwent its last facelift in 2022. Given the rising competition from new subcompact SUVs like Skoda Kylaq and Kia Syros, a refreshed Brezza could arrive by August 2025 with additional features to stay ahead of rivals.
Anticipated updates for the Brezza include a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital driver's display. Ventilated and powered front seats along with standard six airbags are also expected. Additionally, a panoramic sunroof might be introduced as competitors like Mahindra XUV 3XO and Tata Nexon offer this feature in their models.

DriveSpark Thinks
The upcoming Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is one of the most anticipated car launches of this year. However, this is not the only priority for the automaker, and this diversification of priority is expected to help the automaker boost its overall sales significantly in 2025.
