TVS aims to compete with models like the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160 in the growing 150-160cc scooter segment. This market has seen an influx of new models recently, some featuring liquid-cooled engines such as those from Yamaha and Hero, while others like Aprilia offer air-cooled options. The Ntorq 150 will likely feature sporty styling and a robust set of features.
TVS Ntorq 150: Engine Options
Currently, TVS lacks a liquid-cooled engine below the 300cc mark. It remains uncertain whether they will develop a new engine for the Ntorq 150 to rival competitors like Yamaha Aerox and Hero Xoom. Alternatively, TVS might opt for an air-cooled engine, which may not match liquid-cooled performance but could be more cost-effective.
The Ntorq 150 will include at least single-channel ABS due to government regulations related to its displacement.
