Toyota Celebrates Soccer Culture As Official Sponsor Of The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup
Soccer enthusiasts are gearing up for an exciting summer as they support their favourite teams in the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup. Toyota is once again the official automotive sponsor of this event, highlighting the strength and resilience of its Tundra, Tacoma, and 4Runner models. This year, Toyota's campaign celebrates the unwavering loyalty of soccer fans and the unmatched durability of its trucks.
The partnership with the Concacaf Gold Cup underscores a shared appreciation for culture, community, and values. Paul Doleshal, General Manager of Motorsports and Sponsorships at Toyota, stated, "Partnering with the Concacaf Gold Cup is a celebration of culture, community, and shared values. Soccer holds a special place in the hearts of Latino fans, where the game is more than a sport — it’s tradition, pride, and passion passed down through generations. That same spirit of endurance and strength is what drives our trucks. We’re honored to be part of this premier event."
Throughout the tournament, three renowned Mexican soccer figures will collaborate with Toyota in a series of engaging social media videos. These icons will also appear at various matches for photo opportunities and surprise moments during games. Jared Borgetti will be present on June 14 at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Pavel Pardo will attend on June 18 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Oribe Peralta will make an appearance on June 28 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Attendees can enjoy numerous pre-game activities at the Fan Zone during the Gold Cup tournament. The Toyota Fútbol Club offers an interactive space for soccer fans of all ages with vehicle displays, games, music, and giveaways. Fans can also take photos with Mexican soccer legends and the official Gold Cup Trophy at select locations.
The integrated marketing campaign features a broadcast spot showcasing Toyota's truck lineup—Tundra, Tacoma, and 4Runner—emphasising their adventurous spirit and enduring heritage. Creative content will be distributed across digital platforms and social media channels alongside in-game branding elements. Conill, Toyota's Hispanic marketing partner, developed both sponsorship and creative components.
This marks Toyota's fifth consecutive collaboration with the Concacaf Gold Cup as its official automotive sponsor. The biennial tournament includes top 15 Concacaf national teams along with this year's guest team from Saudi Arabia. Now in its 18th edition, it runs from June 14 to July 6 across 14 stadiums in 11 cities within the U.S. and Canada.
